One of the most exciting components of the MLB season is getting to watch top prospects get called up to the majors and see how they can produce for their squads. Former Rookie of the Year award winners like Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani and Pete Alonso put together historic seasons in just the first season in the bigs. In 2020, there are some exciting young studs that will be playing at the MLB level for the first time in their careers. Gavin Lux of the Los Angeles Dodgers is among those names that are looking to show how his talents adapt to the MLB.
Gavin Lux is currently ranked as the No. 2 MLB prospect in the MLB. according to MLB Pipeline. Lux has been in the Dodger's system since 2016 and played 23 games last season due to September call-ups. However, this year will most likely be his first full season and will be considered a rookie.

Lux has luck on his side as he will be representing one of the top teams in the entire MLB. While pitchers will most likely be pitching around guys like Mookie Betts and Cody Bellinger, it may force them to go right after a guy like Lux. If he can reach his complete potential, he may be a World Series champion in only his fist season in the league. The Los Angeles Dodgers may have the 2020 MVP in Betts or Beli, however it is very possible Lux takes home the Rookie of the Year award as well.
