My Three Favorite Players

Everyone has their favorite players in the MLB. Whether they sport their favorite team or people just like their play style, everyone has the players they idolize and simply can't watch enough. I am no exception to this rule and while there is a myriad of names I cherish in the MLB these three are among my most cherished.
3. Matt Olson
I tend to love players that don't get a lot of love even though they are balling out and Matt Olson is doing exactly that. If you are not familiar with Olson you should be as he is one of the most complete first basemen in the entire league. He provides gold glove defenses and hits absolute nukes on offense. While he doesn't too well for average his great OBP certainly makes up for it. In my opinion, Olson is the second best first baseman in the entire league behind only Freddie Freeman.
2. Aaron Judge
As a HUGE Yankees fan it would be criminal for me not to love the face of the franchise Aaron Judge. If it was not for the fact that he plays for the New York Yankees, Judge would probably be the most like player in the MLB. The way he carries himself is nothing short of humble. While I am a huge advocate for bat flips I also respect how Judge constantly pimps homers and never showboats. While people love the power Judge has at the plate some may not recognize his elite fielding, He is one of the best defensive outfielders in the entire league out in right and oh yeah he has an absolute cannon of an arm.
1. Gleyber Torres
Gleyber Torres is not yet the best player on the Yankees, but man is his future bright. The 23-year-old has two seasons under his belt and already earned himself two all-star nods. I think the reason why I love Torres so much is because I have been following him since he was in the Chicago Cubs system, and when he was traded to the Yankees I went ballistic. Torres has some kinks to work out but right now is looking like one of the most promising young stars in the game today. He will be a big part of a Yankees team that has the potential to win some hardware over the next few years. Oh yeah, did I mention he's only 23?
