3. Tommy Pham

Tommy Pham is one of the more underrated players in the league. He is not flashy and is not a superstar, but he is a consistently good player. Pham finished the 2019 campaign with a .273 batting average as well as 21 home runs. He has some serious pop in his bat and is not liability out there in left as he can cover his ground. He will be joining forces in an exciting Padres squad who already have Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr.

2. Austin Meadows

Austin Meadows is one of the rising stars in the MLB today. While not a name like Gleyber Torres or Ronald Acuna Jr, Meadows will be a problem in the MLB for a while. The kid can absolutely rake. The Tampa Rays acquired Meadows from the Padres in the super one-sided Chris Archer trade. In 138 games, Meadows hit .291 and launched 33 balls over the wall. While he is an awful fielder, he is still young and can improve. Meadows is amazing, however, there is just no way he is better than the number one spot.

1. Juan Soto

Juan Soto is exceptional. The man is 21-years-old and just won the World Series in Washington for the first time in history. Soto is clearly the best-left fielder in the league and can absolutely rake. In 2019, he batted .282 with 34 home runs and also walked 102 times. He was always finding a way on base and getting in position to score. He has also has proven that he shines the brightest when the stakes are high playing a crucial role in that World Series run. It is bewildering to think Juan Soto was not of legal drinking age when he won the NLCS to appear in the World Series. He did, however, get to celebrate properly when the Nationals won the World Series as he was 21 by then.
